We are seeking to hire a part-time, Tasting Room Host to assist with all aspects of customer engagement and satisfaction. This position would be a multi-faceted role including managing virtual phone system and email correspondences, online reviews, assisting with venue rental inquiries as well as coordinating meetings for our CEO. This position would also assist with events in the tasting room.

The Customer Service Representative’s schedule would be 20 hours each week:

Start Date: As soon as possible.
The ideal candidate should possess the following characteristics:
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
* Ability to identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve overall satisfaction.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to document important information and pass it along to the CEO.
* Have a passion for wine and growing a wine brand.
* Be professional, be reliable, and enthusiastic Essential Duties.
* Answer winery phone and respond to customer email inquires.
* Assist with online orders and order fulfillment.
* Follow-up with customers who have placed online orders to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
* Manage inquiries for events, venue rentals, and private wine tastings.
* Assist CEO with scheduling meetings and calendar appointments.
* Support and carry out the mission and vision of NAVI Wine Bar & Tasting Room.
* Understand our products and services; fully inform potential customers.
* Educate our guests on the history of the brand and the wines.
* Properly open and pour NAVI Wine Bar wine.
* Handle cash drawer, wine, and food sales.
* Maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications
* Must be 21 years of age or older.
* 2 years of customer service and communications experience.
* 1 year of administrative assistant experience.
* 1 year of event coordination experience.
* Passion for wine and customer service.
* Engaging, outgoing, approachable personality.
* Passion for meeting new people and evangelizing wine products.
* Ability to work weekends and some holidays.
* Above-average knowledge of wine and the wine industry.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., and familiarity with or ability to learn point of sale systems and winery software. Work Environment
• Projects can take place both indoors and outdoors where temperatures can range from cold to hot depending on the season.
• Noise level is usually moderate. Physical Demands
• Full body mobility. Ability to stand, walk, bend, sit, use tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, kneel.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work for extended periods of time at a computer.
